about us

At Drowned Deck Studios, we create stories shaped by salt, steel, and survival.Founded by a maritime student with a love for ocean history and storytelling, we specialize in animated projects that capture the drama, beauty, and danger of life at sea. Whether it’s a gripping historical retelling or an original nautical tale, our goal is to make the audience feel the waves crashing, the deck trembling, and the heart pounding. We are a small, independent team of writers, voice actors, and artists committed to keeping our work authentic and AI-free. Every frame, every line, and every sound is created by passionate people who care deeply about the stories we tell. With backgrounds in maritime research, animation, and narrative design, our crew works tirelessly to bring projects to life while honoring the real history and emotions behind them. This studio began with a simple idea: to give voice to the stories beneath the surface. From shipwrecks and rescues to resilience and hope, we aim to create animations that stick with you long after the credits roll. At Drowned Deck Studios, we create stories shaped by salt, steel, and survival.

"I’ve been fascinated by the ocean for as long as I can remember. This year, I discovered a deep love for ocean liners and their stories — and I knew I couldn’t let the ships of the past fade into obscurity. That’s why I created Drowned Deck Studios: to give these vessels a lasting legacy and keep their voices alive through storytelling."

CQD, Head astarboard

Set in the early 1910s, aboard a grand British ocean liner, three unlikely heroes find themselves tested when a routine voyage turns into a fight for survival.
As disaster strikes, Amara Naveah Stuart, a determined wireless operator navigating both her disability and the prejudice of her male peers, sends desperate signals into the void, hoping someone will answer. Below deck, Clarence Gunter Bradshaw, a skilled yet underestimated Chief Engineer, struggles to hold his team and the ship together as chaos erupts around him.On the bridge, Captain Tobias “Toby” Cameron Smith, young and burdened with inexperience, must lead frightened passengers and crew through a nightmare he never expected to face.
As the liner sinks into darkness, each of them must confront not only the roaring sea, but also the weight of the roles they were never supposed to have and prove that courage can rise from the most unexpected places.”
